There has been an incredible spate of dance celebrations recently and Sutra, not to be left out, has also been busy with holding dance presentations and exhibitions to add to the infectious creative energy of the artistic community.
There is a palpable anticipation to Sutra’s next Odissi studio performance – Trans-formation, by two of Sutra’s upcoming young male dancers, Navineesh and Jayden Roy.
Trans-formation will be presented with a specially designed narration by Rajavel & Vickneshwaran, mentored by veteran actor, Mano Maniam, the latter a longtime Sutra collaborator.
We look forward to witness how Navineesh & Jayden will fare in performing some of the challenging works from both the Debaprasad and Kelucharan classic repertoire, like the Krishna Tandava, Batu Nrutya and Shankarabaranam Pallavi.
Like the previous solo performance of Hareen Loganathan, this will be a sellout performance and we advise you to book early!
