Dear Friends,
Sutra Foundation with the support of Jabatan Kebudayaan & Kesenian Negeri Sabah (JKKN), Institute for Development Studies (IDS) & University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) presented Meniti Cakerawala 2.0 in Kota Kinabalu on 7 Sept, 2025.
This is the Sutra production’s last performance as part of it’s 8-city Malaysia National ‘25 Tour undertaken over the months of July – September 2025.
The Kota Kinabalu performance was attended by the luminaries of Sabah Datuk Dr Haji Mohd. Arifin bin Datuk Haji Mohd. Arif, JP , Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Haji Ghulam Mohd Sayeed, Puan Jennitah Binti Noordin, Puan Marina Binti Abu Bakar, Datuk Dr Ramzah Dambul, Pn Faradilah Hj Abd Rani, En Zawawi Datuk Tiyuni, Datuk Gordon Leong, Shri Jim Rajaratnam and many more.
The Kota Kinabalu performance received heartening response from the audience, a fitting end to the hardwork by the Sutra team and organisers. One could glean from the spontaneous and positive audience reaction that the message driven by astrophysicist Tan Sri Mazlan Othman was digested and understood both from the ArtScience and aesthetic perspectives.
