Kunchi is a special exhibition of my two Odiya artist friends whose work runs a parallel course with Sutra since we started decades ago. The husband-wife team are two of the most dedicated artists from Odisha, I have ever known. They represent pioneers in their own right in the contemporary art movement of Odisha. Their works were first presented in Sutra decades ago and it’s really interesting as well as touching, to reflect how we have grown over the years. Do come and enjoy their work at Kamaria, and I think this intimate setting will heighten the poignancy of Kunchi, ever more.
