The opening of exhibition of paintings (Saturday, 10 April 2015 at Sutra Gallery) – WONDER, STILLNESS / Life Answered by  three women artists (Poojitha Menon, Christine Das and Vasanthi Naidu) took a strong spritual note with H.E. Mr T.S. Tirumurthi (High Commissioner of India to Malaysia) speaking on ‘Stillness, As a way of Living’. Ramli Ibrahim also spoke on
Arts and Culture as Tranforming Catalyst. The occasion was also graced by H.E. Mr Carlos Felix Corona (Ambassador of Mexico to Malaysia) and his lovely wife. The women artists gave a splendid exposition of their works which are not only compelling visually but also layered with depth and introspection. The works visually and eloquently speak of the artists’ relationship with Mother Earth and the Environment. Each artist displayed not only her maturity in technique and design but eventually in the manner she has manifested and communicated on canvas this relevant message in their chosen art – painting.
