Dear friends,
Presently there is a raging public discussion on the dumbing down of our higher education institutions which literally suppress the very fabric of educating and cultivating a thinking and questioning future citizens. One of the major issues is the lack of interdisciplinary exchanges in preparing graduates to face the diversity of options and choices of the real world. The arts and humanities have been sidelined in our education system when in actual fact they promote this thinking and questing minds instead of producing the factory-market-driven retards in our graduates.
This is a panel discussion with scholars and artists who are concerned that Arts, Culture and the Humanities are being neglected and left out in our strategy of nation building. You are welcome to join this online discussion.
