The Parents’ Day for Sutra odissi classes OD 4 & OD 5, was beautifully captured in this brief video during the auspicious day of Navarathri.
The ‘making of a dancer’ is a marathon and not a sprint – and one can see improvements made by the dancers over the few months, even by those who one previously thought may not survive the ordeal. This is the miracle of hardwork.
Seen here are dancers from the Air Panas Ashram who have been consistent in their hardwork and have made quantum jumps in improvement.
The night was well organised by Sutra senior dancers as most of us are presently in Japan preparing this very day 20 Oct, for our first performance of Jaya Ram .
The ‘ good work’ must prevail in different directions, regardless…
