Come and experience JAYA RAM (Odissi) by Sutra Foundation in its 2nd Season, a special occasion in the cultural calendar of 2023.
JAYA RAM will be presented at the Khajuraho Dance Festival 2023 (23 Feb). Upon our return, JAYA RAM will tour to Melaka, Seremban, Kuala Lumpur, Subang Jaya and Singapore all through March and April.
In JAYA RAM, you will find the seamless cultural encounter where INDIA meets MALAYSIA in a collaborative odissi production between Guru Gajendra Panda (Tridhara, Odisha) and Datuk Ramli Ibrahim (Sutra, Malaysia). Jaya Ram depicts the triumph of Rama, Hero of the Ramayana and celebrates the 65 year of bi-lateral diplomatic relations between Malaysia and India.
