Sutra was privileged to perform for the AAA (Arts Against AIDs) silent exclusive auction of paintings, yesterday evening 4 Dec at One Bangsar, presented by Karex Bhd (World’s largest condom manufacturer).
All of the proceeds will go to the Malaysia AIDS Foundation (MAF). This year marks the 10th anniversary of AAA. When AAA was launched in 2016, it started with the small idea that creativity could spark awareness bringing people together for a meaningful cause.
Over the years AAA has raised more than RM1.5 Million channeled to MAF’s programmes.
The global response in the fight against AIDS is not just a health issue but sits in the intersection of poverty, education, gender equality, employment, human rights and inclusivity, making it relevant to every pillar of our society. This is the reason, public awareness and participation are crucial in the fight against AIDS.
Kudos to MK Goh, group CEO of Karex for taking a leading role in the effort to continue the sustainable support of MAF with regard to the public & national engagement with this national health issue.
‘HIV is not over. And it won’t be – if stigma continues to win!’
