Sutra Foundation presents 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙗𝙮 𝙉𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚, 𝘼𝙧𝙩 𝙗𝙮 𝙈𝙖𝙣, a photography exhibition by veteran photographers, Eric Peris and Choy Khye Fatt, on 13 December 2025 to be officiated by Tan Sri Johan Jaaffar at Sutra Gallery.
This is their third joint exhibition by Eric Peris, 87, and KF Choy, 71, celebrating a uniquely harmonious artistic fellowship.
Their early childhood exposure to Nature’s delights – Eric, with his first Brownie & Choy, a Kodak Instamatic, both then in primary schools – were further fuelled by respective artist-parents.
Guided by a lifetime of contemplative walking and a profound Buddhist sensibility, Eric Peris uncovers quiet honed-in abstractions within all that Mother Nature offers through almost hidden patterns.
With experience gained from his family’s printing business, KF Choy summons abstractions through his own visual alchemy, transforming reality into imaginative illusion.
Expect surprise — definitely not the obvious, nor the predictable. Their contrasting visions converge in a collection of intriguing works that will delight, puzzle, and engage viewers and collectors alike.
