I am delighted that several of our friends from Kuala Lumpur will actually be attending Jaya Ram at the Wood Factory in Ipoh. Indeed, many sense that this will be a special staging at an interesting venue, different from the usual proscenium theatre.
Jaya Ram had been staged at exciting temple settings of Konark and Khajuraho of Odisha & Madhya Pradesh respectively, and also with the iconic background of the India Gate, New Delhi.
Presenting Jaya Ram at a previous Wood Factory will be something different and worth looking forward to.
Those who missed the three seasons of Jaya Ram in Kuala Lumpur will have another opportunity to experience this production inspired by the timeless tale of Rama and the Abduction of Sita, this time in Ipoh! Jom tengok!
