Sutra dancers performed on the first auspicious night of Navarathri at the Sri Raja Rajeswary Temple, Jalan Ampang.
Our relationship with Dato’ M Rajasekaran and Datin Jeyanthini goes a long way, for more than 25 years. Most of the young dancers of Sutra Dance Outreach Program had their dance debut during Navarathri, some years ago at this Temple. It’s wonderful that our dancers should continue to establish a meaningful connection with this temple during the auspicious Navarathri when dance, music and all that is beautiful in our culture, are honoured and celebrated.
