Sutra recently presented a Sunday morning Bharatanatyam Parents’ Day on 13th of August. This was held to motivate students to work harder to prepare themselves for their upcoming Navaratri performances in October.
Family and friends of Sutra students came in droves for the opportunity to view their progress. The parents were also able to be familiar with Sutra’s teaching method.
The Parents’ day was conducted by Sutra’s senior teacher Rathimalar Govindarajoo and junior teachers. The dancers presented their dance items in their bright uniforms which looked attractive in the crisp morning light at Amphi-Sutra.
After the presentation, parents and guests enjoyed the sumptuous potluck food as they mingled and took photos in the beautiful atmosphere of Sutra garden.
