Dear Friends,
Sutra remains a strong bastion of bharatanatyam even though we have been associated mostly with odissi. The convincing performance of Sutra dancer Kirthana Sukumaran in her arangetram spoke well of Sutra maintaining its high standard of this complex classical dance form.
At the same time, before 2022 is over, we feel compelled to give our bharatanatyam dancers the opportunity to show their talent.
We are delighted to announce the last of Sutra’s KitaTariKita 2022 series (III) – a scintillating studio-performance of bharatanatyam by dancers of Sutra Academy.
