This video celebrates Sutra’s performance at the 16th Guru Debaprasad Award Festival 2022 where two Sutra dancers, Tan Mei Mei and Aishwaryaa were awardees. They were awarded for their excellence in Odissi.
Mooted by Guru Gajendra Kumar Panda, Director & Founder of Tridhara, the 3-day Festival was held between 28 – 30 Oct, 2022 at the prestigious Rabindra Mandap, Bhubaneswar.
Sutra dancers performed on the last day, 30 Oct, where they performed a special 50-min Odissi program specially directed by Datuk Ramli Ibrahim to feature works commissioned to Guru Gajendra Panda over the last 3 decades, until just recently (Jaya Ram).
Sutra congratulates both Tan Mei Mei and Aishwaryaa for their awards and wishes that they continue fulfilling their sadhana and bhakti to their chosen dance field.
