Twinning 2.0 was another successful Odissi performance spearheaded by Sutra (Kuala Lumpur) & Rudrakshya Foundation (Bhubaneswar). The performance represented a living manifestation of the cultural link between India and Malaysia through an intense collaboration between the two dance Foundations based in Bhubaneswar and Kuala Lumpur.
Ever since the production Odissi on High (2018) which the two Foundations collaborated, dancers of both institutions have kept in close contact with one another and Twinning 2.0 was a great effort in keeping the flame of creative exchange alive between the young dancers of both institutions.
The excellent dancers of Rudrakshya Foundation, Santosh Ram and Samir Panigrahi, were also able to share their knowledge of technique through intense workshops conducted for many dancers from Kuala Lumpur.
We can only hope that this creative exchange will continue to take place in the future years ahead.
