Sutra Foundation continues to present insightful illustrated lec-dems and compelling exhibitions for 2019. This time Chennai-based Malayali artist Thejo Menon returns after her successful KL debut last year,  bringing new works for her exhibition – ‘Dynamic Energies of Existence’ at Sutra Gallery (6 Sept). Prior to the exhibition (5 Sept) Thejo, will be joined by Aishwarya Manivannan – a Shilambam martial-art expert, who will impress us with talk and demonstration of her deft and lethal moves of the rare South Indian martial-art. Both will speak at the ICC on the challenges faced by women in the male-dominated arenas of visual and martial arts. We hope you will join us celebrate these two women in their effort to raise the ceiling-bar of their fields.
