2008 Directs Stirring Odissi – International Odissi Festival Malaysia (Sutra Dance Theatre’s 25th Anniversary), Europe Tour and leads Sutra at Carnegie Hall, NY performance

2007 – Sutra Foundation is launched

2006 – Toronto/Europe Tour/Angarag Lifetime Achievement Award

1985 – Adorations – his first major Odissi work premieres in Sydney with Rodney Hall

1984 – Choreographs Sutrarasa Fantasy Island

1983 – Establishes Sutra Dance Theatre. Choreographs first contemporary Malaysian works Gerhana and Pandanglah! Lihatlah!

1982 – Returns to Malaysia. Receives grant from Australia Arts Council to study Odissi. Begins serious study with Deba Prasad Das

1981 – New York/London/Hong Kong/with SDC. Met legendary Odissi Indrani Rehman in NY

1980 – Italy Tour. Goes to Orissa and commences study of Odissi in Puri

1978 – Debuts in Graeme Murphy’s Poppy as Nijinsky at the Sydney Opera House

1977 – Invited to the Sydney Dance Company (SDC) under Graeme Murphy upon graduation from ABS. Met with Adyar K. Lakshman in Sydney and begins studying Bharata Natyam seriously

1977 – Graduates from the Australian Ballet School (ABS)
